'Which Roll Model® Therapy Ball is for you? There are many tools to suit your ‘kneads’: The Original Yoga Tune Up® Therapy ball is a focused pressure akin to a massage therapist using their thumb to manually manipulate the fascia. In this video Jill is demonstrating this ball on her jaw line, upper shoulders/ neck and palms of the hands. This ball works well into the nooks and crannies of your body, penetrating deeply into the tissues. The Therapy Ball Plus is the next size up and has broader pressure, like a therapist’s elbow. The Plus ball provides a slightly larger surface area but still works deeply into the body. You see Jill using this ball while demonstrating the Cross Fiber technique on her quads and working into her calf muscles using both the Stripping and Pin and Stretch techniques. The Alpha Ball provides the feel of a closed fist and has the same grippiness and density of the YTU Therapy Ball and the Therapy Plus Ball. Because this ball covers a more extensive surface area, it can ease into the tissues, taking a broader stroke across the fascia. Jill is using this ball on the outer hip/ glute area, the pectoralis major and minor and deltoid, giving the hips and shoulders some soothing massage. The Coregeous Ball is the tool for soft touch. It provides an open palm pressure and because its air filled, it can be used on the sensitive areas of the throat, upper chest, rib cage and abdomen. This ball is perfect to reset your breath and your nervous system. Learn more about The Roll Model® Method: http://www.tuneupfitness.com'
