While facing the front (the mirrors), place the working leg/front foot on the platform, and place the secondary/back foot onto the carriage. Keeping your body weight over the working leg’s heel, slowly extend down into a lunge. It’s important to keep your body square to the front and the back leg straight with the heel raised. A couple things to keep in mind… This is an up/down motion. Keep your knee stationed over your ankle. Never lock out the knee of the working leg…we want to keep that knee safe and the muscles constantly burning. Chest up, and shoulders back. And lastly, keep your shoulders over your hips.
