This time we have tried a home dumbbell strength/resistance and conditioning workout, that was featured on Steve Cooks YouTube channel along with Jacob Hutton from Fitness Culture, so shout out to Steve and Jacob and here is the link to the original video.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5teLQVjRghU&t=44s  In this workout, we went for the outdoor workout approach to keep cool!  Using dumbbells only and 2 exercise mats we covered resistance training to failure and conditioning work to improve your cardiovascular fitness.  Ideally, you want to work to TECHNICAL failure, not just failure. (We didn\'t follow this as well as we should have! but we\'ll try harder next time, yes next time!)  So when you start to lose form, you\'re done! Don\'t adapt to use the wrong muscles.  If you are new to this type of workout to failure with a longer length of time doing reps, it will be difficult to maintain for the full 5 mins, so if you need to stop and recover for 10-20 secs, do so.  Here is a breakdown of the workout with explanations.  Strength/resistance and conditioning workout to failure.  1A. DB Floor Press 1B. DB Bent Over Row - 3 rounds alternating to failure with each exercise. (1 min rest) 2A. 20 DB Front Squats 2B. 20 DB RDL\'s - 3 rounds alternating to failure also if you can\'t complete the 20 reps. (90-120 secs rest)  Conditioning - AMRAP (As many reps as possible)  1. 5 mins alternating between 20 Thrusters and 20 V\'ups (1 min rest) 2. 5 mins alternating between 20 Alternating DB Snatch and 20 Mountain Climbers. (1 min rest) 3. 5 mins alternating between 10 Single DB Alternating Lunges and 10 Burpees.
